Inner Sydney High School

Welcome to the

P&C Association

Keeping Parents, Carers, Students and the Community connected

We are a member of the Federation of Parents and Citizens Associations of NSW, which is committed to a free public education system that’s inclusive of all, irrespective of culture, gender, academic ability and socio-economic status.

P&C Members and Meetings

We hold our P&C meetings every term on Wednesdays during weeks 3 and 7. Our gatherings commence at 6pm with a 30-minute casual meet-and-greet session, transitioning into our formal meeting at 6.30 pm. This is a hybrid meeting, allowing our members to attend either in person or online. Meetings usually last one hour.

Sub- and Parent Committees

Our P&C sub-committees play a vital role in enriching our school community. From organising the highly anticipated second-hand uniform sale to planning events or coordinating thoughtful gestures like the teachers' appreciation lunch, these dedicated teams contribute significantly to the spirit that defines our community.

Social & Fundraising Events

The P&C's social and fundraising events are welcoming and inclusive celebrations that bring our school community together while supporting important initiatives. From fun-filled family gatherings to parent and carer-only social catch-ups, these events offer enjoyable opportunities for our community to connect outside the classroom.

Our Highlights

The past year has seen us introduce a range of initiatives to support our students and teaching community, inclusive of financial support for the student wellness program and additional security cameras, the introduction of a second-hand uniform sale, advocacy for better transport options for our school community with the local MP and social events to bring the parent community together.

Our Mission

To represent our parents and carers and to collaborate with and support our teachers and school staff so that our students, teachers and school community can thrive in IN_SYD’s innovative and contemporary learning environment.

We actively connect the Community through formal and informal meetings and gatherings, subcommittees and parent groups, social and fundraising events.

Acknowledgement of Country

The Inner Sydney P&C Association acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet, learn and grow as a community. We would like to pay respect to their Elders, past, present, and emerging, as well as their continuous connection to Culture, Community, and Country.
